Why did Dingaan attack the whites?
Its simple, the British sent him a letter which is still in existence to this day from the British in the Cape that they were deserters. The pastor in the Zulu camp was a British pastor & he is the one who handed the letter to Dingaan. On the day of the battle of Blood river, the British swooped in and took territory in Natal.
Very few people have heard of or even know of these letters sent from the Cape Government. Harry Booyens covers this extensively in his AmaBhulu book
