[Lorenz Kraus found this lovely example of ancient Jewish trickery. I mentioned in the Great Jewish Mask that the Jews had been trying their nonsense with other Ancient Greeks. Well, there are the Jews suddenly expressing a great interest in Spartan WEALTH … and then suddenly they are "brothers" who will "share" each other's wealth! I like the way Lorenz says it's the equivalent of "Tell us what's in your bank account". 🙂 Jan]

An exchange of letters in the deutero-canonical First Book of Maccabees expresses a Jewish claim to kinship with the Spartans:
